Ministry Descriptions (Ages 6 months – 8th Grade)
Kingdom Children Center
The Kingdom Children Center provides care for small children ages 6 months-Pre-Kindergarten during Primos Worship & the 3P Worship. KCC Vision: To meet efficiently the child care needs of our church community by implementing our Bishop's vision through the children building a solid foundation that aids development spiritually, physically, socially and emotionally.
Kingdom Children’s Church
Kingdom Children's Church provides training in worship on Sundays during the Primos and 3P Worships by allowing our children to have their own worship in which they perform all the support services. (singing, ushering, Jr. Deacons, etc.)
Kingdom Children Digging Deep
This is our children’s midweek bible study the focuses on the study groups with team leaders. This bible study is focused on building relationships between the children as well fostering intense discipleship from Team leaders to participants.
Jr. Higher Deeper
This ministry is designed to guide Jr. High Students to a closer walk with Christ through Encouragement, Excitement, Accountability, and Example – Teaching the students to love and reverence God with all that they are and to reach out to others around them causing a total IMPACT in the world for Christ.
Imperial Soldiers
This ministry is an evangelistic and discipleship purposed tool. By combining the rigors of physical fitness and the discipline of scripture memorization and character building we do entry level leadership training through step and dance.
M.A.F.I.A. (Mothers and Fathers In Action)
This ministry is designed to provide the parents of Valley Kingdom Ministries International with a support mechanism in which they will be able to share ideas and fellowship with each other about parenting as well as allow parents an avenue in which to support KCM.
Vessels of Praise
This ministry is an extension of our Shekinah Glory praise & worship ministry. VOP exists to express praise and worship through dance: traditional liturgical, prophetic, and the current contemporary dance.
Children Winning Children (Children’s Evangelism)
This ministry is primarily a manifestation of Matt 28:19-20 the Great Commission to Go ye. CWC is a ministry that teaches how to be evangelical, what an evangelist is and why we need to reach the lost.
Foot Soldiers (Jr. Doorkeepers/Ushers)
This ministry is a vital support ministry in the worship. They are responsible for the courteous and friendly seating of guest and members. They also disseminate information on the worship to the guest and members.
Ministerial Support
This ministry is to help the children’s pastor along with the nurses and trustee in making sure that our spiritual leaders concentrate on the preaching and teaching and leadership of the ministry, by providing the pastor with spiritual as well as natural support.
“Kidz Kopy” Children’s Newsletter
This is a newsletter that gives the members of Kingdom Children Ministries the current events, birthdays and important need to know information.
Boys to Men (Mentoring)
This is an extension of the Men’s ministry that teaches the young men age 8 and up basic principles of Christian male leadership and fellowship.
Daughters of Promise (Mentoring)
These ministries are extensions of Women’s ministry that exist to teach, train and educate the girls and young ladies of VKMI the principles of Godly womanhood.
Lilies of the Valley
This is the choral ministry that ministers during the Children’s Worship Services as well as any special events.
Children’s Shekinah Glory
This ministry is designed to lead children into praise and worship during worship services as well as any children’s special events.
Children’s Drama/ Puppet Ministry
This is an outreach evangelical ministry that allows sermons and classroom lessons to come alive through the use of puppetry and drama. This ministry is also responsible for the major children’s dramatic productions.
God Squad (Children Prayer Warriors)
This ministry is the under girding of the spiritual objectives of the children’s ministry. They are responsible for prayer chains, shut-ins and coverage of prayer in all worships and evangelistic endeavors.
Tutoring Ministry
This ministry exists to give academic assistance to children to improved study habits and to develop them to pass tests both spiritually and naturally.
Nurses
This ministry provides basic medical assistance for children’s worships and events as well as pastoral support.
Athletic Ministry
This ministry provides organized team sports for children that emphasize Christian principles on and off “court”.
The vision that fuels our work in Kingdom Children Ministries grows out of Jesus’ words in Mark 10:14, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” In the midst of a consuming ministry to adults, Jesus regularly ministered to children. We believe the future of the church depends on effective ministry to children today.

To meet efficiently the spiritual needs of our children by implementing the vision of our church of
taking it to the streets, while building the body at home
and taking it from the neighborhood to the nations
through the children building a solid foundation that aids development spiritually, physically, socially and emotionally.
To instruct children from the ages of 6 months through thirteen years old in the biblical truths surrounding the person and life of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
In the face of twenty-first century challenges, the church must strengthen its commitment to reach every child and family possible, teach them effectively, win them to Christ as early as the Holy Spirit gives opportunity, disciple them, and empower them to be disciple makers. KCM is here to assist with this critical task as our Children’s ministry coordinates a unified ministry that reaches out to unchurched children and meets the spiritual needs of children from birth to 8th grade.
