The foundation of all culture is family and The Mountain of Family is the most important area of influence that needs to be refocused, reconciled and restored because it affects every other area of influence in every culture. It is said: “We live today among unprecedented family breakdown that has caused unprecedented social and physical ills. “ The number one cause of emotional trauma is a dysfunctional family foundation.”
The most vital element to the family structure has been removed:
It is the presence of the father.
The absence of the father in the family structure has resulted in allowing the spirit of rejection, abandonment and low self-esteem to destroy our homes, communities and cities. Although there are no perfect families, God knew that the family structure would be challenged because of the sin of man. But despite what man has done, God always wanted the family structure to be in the forefront.
Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. (Genesis 2:21-25)
The family is the heartbeat of God! He is using the 7 Mountain Movement to enlighten, educate and equip His people to help restore the family structure to the glory it once had. Malachi 4:6-7 reads:
“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet
Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.
And he will turn
The hearts of the fathers to the children,
And the hearts of the children to their fathers,
Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”
Love, acceptance, affirmation and trust will cause the internal family structure to become refreshed, refocused and restored, thus allowing healthy people to be released out of the family structure into the other 6 mountains of influence. God wants to give strategies and visions that will marry churches, and other social & governmental organizations in creating resources & provisions that build and maintain healthy families.
