RESPONSIBILITIES
- You’ll get to work on the Valley’s eChurch team supporting the Creative Team to build engagement with those who interact with us through our social media channels
- You’ll manage all of The Valley Worship’s social platforms and additional The Valley main events and brands as needed (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, X, TikTok), including ideation, writing, scheduling, and posting content
- You’ll create weekly content calendars to be presented to ePastor for approval and feedback
- You’ll create organic content for all social platforms as needed alongside dedicated content creators
- You’ll monitor and interact on all channels, and generate social analytics reports to present to leadership
- You’ll manage social content creation, giving direction and feedback to content creators
- You’ll assist with defining and implementing measurable strategies to meet our growth objectives
- You’ll create and drive social media plans, including developing campaigns, managing influencers, and social partnerships for the target audience
- You’ll lead weekly social media brainstorming meetings with other members of the marketing and creative teams
- You’ll study and follow social platforms and trends to stay current
MUST-HAVES
- 2+ years of relevant social media marketing experience, (managing social media platforms or communities for brands, etc.)
- Must be willing and able to attend one-off events for social media coverage
- Knowledge of The Valley Brand
- Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, etc… and Dropbox
- Experience in writing and overseeing content creation
- High level of understanding of popular social networks — design, functionality, users
- High level of understanding audiences & how they interact with artists
- Experience with content strategies; very high attention to detail
- High level of time management & ability to work under pressure
- Exceptional communication and writing skills
- Love working on a team as much as you love working online
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, media studies, writing, communication or public relations
- Experience building social accounts to over 500K followers
- Working knowledge of photo and video editing software such as Adobe Photoshop & Premiere Pro, Canva, Capcut
- Ability to work a camera for both stills and video capture
