Confirmation is a 10-week class that parents and students should prepare for a unique ‘Kingdom Investment Experience’. Students (6th-12th grades) will have fun, participate in relevant learning experiences and grow as young leaders in the Kingdom and parents will partner in their child’s learning, model commitment, and celebrate the transformations in their child that new and renewed knowledge of our Christian faith will yield.
The purpose of CONFIRMATION is to lay the foundation upon which the youth can build his/her Christian faith. Confirmation is designed to equip students with information that will help them to know what they believe, why they believe, and how to share their Christian faith with others. CONFIRMATION aims to help students to understand and to publicly affirm their faith in Jesus Christ and the essential components of their faith which include God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, Prayer, and Communion.
Key goals of CONFIRMATION are also to help students to learn to take personal responsibility for living active, committed, loving, forgiving lives; to assume a position of ‘always growing’ members of the body of Christ; and to learn how to fulfill God’s purpose and will for their lives.
There will be a ($25) supply and material fee per student (This may be paid in installments). Please complete a separate registration form for each student and submit your payment using the link at the bottom of the form.
Parent and Student Orientation – Sunday, March 3rd (Immediately following Worship)
Classes will be held on Sundays beginning – March 10th
High School: 8:15a- 9:45a Mid-High: 9:45a-11:30a
Graduation – Sunday, June 9, 2024
